Content Area Learning Activities: Art, Music, and PE
Learning Activity:
Students will watch the 2 videos on the Music in Algebra section of the Buncee. Students will select one video to write an essay about. The essay should be at least 2 paragraphs describing the mathematical content covered. They should comment on the accuracy or note any errors and how to fix them.
End of school year follow-up: Since music and rhythm helps many students remember ideas, students will be asked to record a song (audio or video) or write a poem about an algebraic topic we learned this year. The song may be a cover/parody of an existing song or students can develop their own melody.
